English essay introduction help!?

The first thought that comes to my mind is the saying about diamonds.....diamonds are a girl's best friend. Maybe you could go somewhere with that somehow but someway do something with pearls. Like.....pearls are an oyster's best friend. I know, totally corny but maybe it will help give you some ideas. I have written many many papers for graduate cles and the first paragraph is definitely the hardest. Have fun....
