It Started with a cough on Friday?

Sat I was achey, headache, and soar throat. Sunday, felt better. I was talking dayquil & nyquil. Now here it is wedsday and my throat was worse than ever and lost my voice for a good part of the day, And still don't feel right. Is this the flu or a cold? Im leaving for Cancun on the 12th and need to get better quick...Suggestions???
