HELP major hair trouble. PLEASE?

Omg, ive never been so upset. I just lost about 20 lbs. My hair was long and like a strawberry blonde and i was tan from summer. I was looking good and dressing great. I even met a boy. UNTIL today, when my mom who is a former hairdresser gave me a trim on my bangs, and cut what my long flowy bangs into short stuby little A*SHOLE BANGS. I look stupid and they ruin my entire hairdo. What should i do . MY HAIR TAKED FOREVER TO GROW BACK. I CANT BELIEVE SHE DID THIS TO ME. ITll take a year to get my hair back to normal !
