Is it normal for people to sometimes try to control themselves from falling in love with someone?

It's normal but impossible. It seems like you're halfway falling in love with her. I mean come on you're writing about it online looking for feedback. That could only mean that she's on your mind a lot or you want to be given advice on how to let go of her. I think you should end it if you don't want to fall completely in love but why not? give love a chance!
