What is the most accurate .17hmr ammo?

I have a marlin model 917vs .17hmr rifle. Ive read about most of the different brands of .17hmr ammo and have heard that Hornady ammo holds the tightest pattern. I have shot spitfire ballistic tip ammo (I forget who makes it, but it looks like a knock-off of hornady's ballistic tip ammo), CCI fmj ammo, and CCI hollow point ammo. Out of the two different brands, CCI ammunition holds the tightest pattern, but from what Ive read, its the least accurate .17hmr ammo. I had my gun sighted in perfectly with the CCI ammunition, but switched over the spitfire ballistic tip ammo hoping to improve accuracy. This was not the case. My gun hates the spitfire ballistic tip ammo. Is the Hornady ballistic tip ammo any better, or should I stay away from ballistic tip ammo and stick with the CCI hollow points? My main goal is accuracy...I want to be able to drive nails from long distances.

I'm totally confused about my uality right now because of what someone did to me in the bathroom back in high school. I'm currently 19 years old and I'm single and I think I'm straight orientated but I think the person whoever did something to me in the bathroom might have messed up and confused my uality. You see, Back when i was in my junior year of high school people were spreading untrue that i was gay, they've done that back in elementary school but it was a lot worse in high school. I was in an emergency to use the bathroom so i had to use it and after about 30 seconds i went into the bathroom he went and locked the bathroom door and then molested me orally by force, he also done something nasty in my mouth. It was Valentine's Day when that happened and I was about to go give flowers to one of my friend that is a girl but i instead ran home. I was in shock and fear and developed Migraine headaches and was home bound for 3 months which means a teacher went to my house and taught me. I went back to school psychically in April 2009 and I was kept on hared by that gay guy until graduation but he never did anything else after that Valentine's Day incident. After a week after my high school graduation I started cross dressing in girl's clothing and heels, the gay guy's quote that is, you're gay and that's why no girls likes you so you should become a girl, that voice kept on haunting me till today. The crossdressing escalated so much that I own 3 pairs of heels now and I kept on wanting to get more. I think he really messed me up. Why are people so obsessed with their Credit Score?

Everybody's made excellent points which I don't want to rehash again, so I'll just say this: It's human nature to be competitive, to "keep up with the Joneses" if you will. Unless you're born into money, into sports, entertainment, or even illegal means, you won't have that type of money to flat out get what you want. The "Average Joe" (like myself) that wakes up every morning to go to their respective 9-5 to survive, just doesn't have it like that. So in essence credit is necessary. To me, it should be used as a tool to maintain, and in some cases improve the quality of life. What gives credit a bad rep is when people have "eyes that are bigger than their stomachs" and try to live outside their means. When I was an credit yst and underwriter, I saw this time in and time out. It's hard enough just living "C2C" (check to check), but throw a credit card or two, or a few, or even several in the mix, it begins a neverending perpetual cycle. With how you can get credit so easily sometimes it's real easy to blur the lines and not be able to delineate between the two. Some even take it to the next level to use credit as a lifestyle substitute instead of a supplement, living off their credit cards for years, and once it gets out of hand wave the white flag of bankruptcy. Dave Ramsey has his views about not using credit, which I repsect fully, but I disagree, while Suze Orman has her view that you have to have excellent credit which I agree to an extent as well. I take points that both have made and incorporated it into my own lifestyle to maintain a sense of balance. So in closing I say this it's really up to you if you want to save money and pay cash for everything, there's nothing wrong with that, hey especially the fact that everything would be paid for free and clear, but in the same token, if I'm responsible and "know the game" and can stay "ahead of the game" with credit, I don't see where there's anything wrong with that.

When I took my rocker arms off my head, to put seal on. I went to tighten down the rocker arm stud. It has no compression now. the lifter seems like it is holding the valve open. I have owned three different scooters, two are 07 models and the other was an 08 model. They all three have the same engine, the GY6 QMB139 Honda Clone. It seems like the 07 models have half the power the 08 does, they all three have the same belts, variators, roller weights and CDIs. I cant figure out how to make the 07 I have now run and have the power like the 08 I had did. Now all three of these were made by different manufactures (07 Linwood, 07 wildfire, 08 NST) would that make a difference I mean the engines all appear the same, have interchanging parts, but the only thing is the 07s dont have as much power or even top speed as the 08 does

Yes, I graduated from Fresno State in 2006. From my experience, it is a decent school. I had very interesting instructors and it was fairly easy. There's lots of college activities you can get involved with. There's always something going on. The campus is average sized, not really very big. They've remodeled and built some new buildings though since I graduated, so I'm not too familiar with those. Overall, my experience at Fresno State was pretty good, smooth and easy. I'm glad I'm through with college!

Out of the Blue Hypertension?

Last Thursday, I experienced an sudden episode of nausea, elevated blood pressure, dizziness, rapid heart rate, and diarrhea. I thought I was going to die, but that ped, the diarrhea went away the only thing that remained was the elevated blood pressure and the feeling that there is pressure in my head. Its not a headache nor do I feel pain it just feels like there is something pushing out of head.I went to my doctor on a follow up to a past visit for an unrelated worry. She said that I had mild hypertension according to the bp reading of 147/75 that day and told me to go on a diet that is low in salt, fat and high in fruits and veggies, and to include cardio exercise. I have never had high blood pressure, I have always lifted weights, and just two weeks ago I checked my blood pressure and it was 122/81 and now it has been anywhere between 138/72- 159/79 for the past 4 days. I feel as if this is not something that my diet and lifestyle has created, for god sakes I'm only 20 and not overweight and no caffeine, but I feel that something else has triggered this out of the blue hypertension. Have anyone had any experienced with this, should I go to the cardiologist. Why would sudden hypertension occur in another wise healthy young male? And no I was not stressed or emotionally distraught prior to this episode, but now I am starting to get depressed over the fact that I don't know whats going on with me and now I feel like crap.

I just had my first mini event last month and it was a blast! You're going to have SO much fun! It was both mine and the horse's first event. We did the pre-novice, like you, (max 2 ft.). Considering you're doing one of the lower levels, stamina conditioning isn't as important, but once you get to the next level, start doing some conditioning work for XC. My conditioning program is 3 min walk, 15 min trot, 3 min walk, 3 min canter (bad way), 3 min walk, 3 min canter (good way), 3 min walk, 3 min canter (bad way) walk out. then raise it by 15-30 sec every week or two. Memorize your dressage test, but don't practice it too much on your horse, otherwise he will memorize it too and then he will mess up the test at the show from anticipating the movements at certain points. For jumping, practice at least how wide and high the XC jumps will be, and even higher and wider so you are even more prepared for the jumps. Make a check list for everything you need and go over it twice before you leave! Don't let nerves get to you, just focus on jumping safe! Don't fous on competing against everyone else. Just compete against yourself. Set a goal for yourself and each time you compete, try to do it a little better! You may want to lightly ride him around the grounds if it is possible one you get there to acclimate him to his new environment. He is most likely going to be looky, so just be prepared for it. Hm, I guess that's about it! Good luck, be safe, and just have fun! I'm so excited for you!

How authentic is Osho-style tantra?

I've just come off a beginner's introductory tantra weekend. Most of the activities were so-called active meditations and exercises from the Osho -cult (Rajneesh'ism). However despite what the instructor said many of us had great difficulty in rationalising these somewhat weird acticities with what we understood as tantra. So exactly just how authentic is Osho-style tantra? Most of the so-called tantra schools in the UK are 'contaminated' with Osho. So when schools advertise as offering tantra courses (at ever increasing levels and prices) and then offer stuff from Osho I guess this is tantamount to fraud?

So on March 2-7 I had my regular period, only thing different is that is last five days, instead of seven. That did not worry me. THan on the 18 of March, I started spotting only when I wiped, than on the 21, I started a flow that lasted seven days. I usually have clock work periods. I know I missed my period in April that started on the fourth, but have I missed my second one too? It has been like thirty four days for my cycle. I usually have 28-29 day cycles. I have no signs of my period coming, except I am moody. I do have those weird cramps, but they are way more mild than I have ever felt, almost un noticable, and I get weird sharp pains in my tummy that last like three seconds. I smell everything like it is sitting on the top of my lip. Today, I made me a burrito, and the sight of the ketchup on it made me puke. Last week, I woke up so sick, but did not vomit, that was the only day I woke up sick. ALso last sunday, the 12, I used the bathroom after , and noticed pinkish red when I wiped, but nothing ever since. Does this mean I am late? I am testing at the end of the week. I have software that allows superimposing two images, and even fading the one of the images to look transparent. It does require your first urine or your results will be skewed. you do not start it on day one of your period, you start it the following day. so, if you start on tues. you will hit start on wed when you get up. for the first 5 days you just hit the on. startting day 6 you start testing your urine. i used it twice and ended up pregnant the 1st month each time. good luck and read the directions...they are easier than they sound!

I have three female bettas. Each are different sizes. One is a big matured crown tail, one is medium sized spade tail, and the last is a quite small roundtail (not plakat). I have tried introducing them in neutral territory, so I added all three at once at the same time. They started fighting in a ball. It actually does help lose weight. Not only do you lose weight, but it helps toning arms, abs, legs and . All I do is run and eat vegetables and other healthy food and that has helped me stay very slim. My friend runs as well and eats whatever she wants, and is in good shape, but I wouldn't recommend slacking on diet. She just has good genes. Good luck!

Hi, I have a cat that was the runt of the litter, he was 10 weeks old when we got him, and he just fitted on the palm of my hand. I think when this happens you do tend to treat them different to the other cat's, i don't mean you favour him but he gets that little bit extra. My cat is like yours one minute he is friendly the next he does not want to know. So i just leave him now to get on with it, cat's are cat's and only do what they want to do and when they want to do it. Charlie my cat is 10 years old now he is still very thin and now he has a bad heart, but i know he is happy and i know i am doing everything i possibly can to help him with his problem. But he still thinks he is special little boy against my other cat even though i show them both the same love and affection.

Windows Install/HDD/Blue Screen problems. Help please.?

I have posted many times with no positive outcome so I decided to try one last tme. A few weeks ago I decided to restore my Compaq Presario 6000Z because of sluggishness and mive amounts of junk on the machine. I created my own Recovery CDs after setting up the PC as per instructed and that went well. Now, 4 years later I used them and everything looked good until the 5th (and last) CD and got Blue Screened. I tried 1/2 dozen times with the same result. I ordered the Factory set but in the meantime I successfully formatted the whole HDD and tried again. No luck. When the factory CDs came in I tried them and no luck. I reformatted the drive and performed a ScanDisk. Guess what. No errors! After all these failures I tried everything from using different programs to wipe the drive, remove the battery, you name it. I only get Blue Screened when trying to install something. Anyone know someway of figuring out what is wrong from home w/o using techs or other computers? Thanks.

I really want Fedora 12 for my Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop. When I had Ubuntu Linux, I downloaded a torrent file called 'Wubi' and after installation I rebooted my computer and selected "Ubuntu" from the boot screen and it started from there. Is there any way I can do this with Fedora without hours of work on my computer, or using any CDs? If not, what's the easiest way to get Fedora with a CD or CDRW or whatever? Thanks.

I feel your pain, I've been there. The good thing is it doesn't look bad and you would still be like really trendy if you made it a little messy. But, it should only take you like 3 months to get it back to the way it was before. Generally hair only grows like 1/2 inch every month, but mine grows an 1in so it all depends on how fast your hair grows. It only looks like you need about 3 or 4 more inches to be back where you were in the beginning.

Seachum Ammonia Alert???

My fish store was out of ammonia testing kits that I usually use and I was out at home. I bought a Seachum Ammonia alert thing that sticks inside the tank and the middle disc changes colors. I am getting a 0 reading on ammonia, which is what I expected, but how accurate are these? They seem so much simpler and cheaper than traditional testing. The instructions say that they will work for a year. I don't test ammonia often at all, basically a day or two after adding fish or if I notice any changes in nitrite or nitrate and once a month just to be sure. So am I ok relying on this, I have never used anything like this before or seen one. Thank you

Crazy Toe nail problem, help please?

So i have a story that goes along with this. I went on a canoe trip 2 weeks ago and I slipped in mud on one of the sand bars and ripped my toenail off. It didn't come off all the way so it just was sticking up and still attached at the cuticle. So when i got home I went to the emergency room thinking they would cut it off. but they didn't. they numbed my toe, put the nail back in place, and stitched it down with two stitches straight through my toenail. I pulled the stitches out a week ago. I left them in for 7 days like the doctor said. Well now, after a week with no stitches, the toenail is hanging there and is only attached by the cuticle. the toenail and the nail bed are completely separated. I keep a band-aid on it just so it wont get ripped off. My questions are.... Should I take it off myself? Should I leave it on there? Will it fall off by itself? Will it grow back normal? How long til it grows back? Please help.... i hate having to look at this nasty loose toenail... it makes me queasy every time i see it. HELP!

Bearded Dragon tank help?

I have finally saved enough money to buy a completely different set for my baby! (its not a baby bearded dragon its a adult but its my baby XD) We have been through the process of rebuilding our home and had to move to a apartment and move back in. Now that we are settled i raised money for a new set up. I was wondering whether i should get a tall 40 gal. cage or a wide 40 gal. cage. If its tall then its not going to be a tank its going to have walls with screens like a window screen or sliding door screen. (not the sizes) if its wider than it is tall then its going to be a normal tank structure. Anyways im going to get gvine (that wooden stuff) and place it in the "hot spot" i also want some rocks too. Im also wanting to get some sort of platform that can stand sturdy but also sag a little almost like a hammock but its not, and a hide out. Now i haven't been paying much attention to him lately and that makes me sad so i want to give him a luxurious home to live in for the rest of his life! now i have the money. I just need more suggestions. So more height or more width? Any more ideas on the interior? and 1 more question. Hi, I have been having these pains in my head, that are like shooting pains. They can start all the way from the back of the head to the front. I had my wisdom teeth taken out in 2009 and the dentist said that enamel is worn, so I was wondering if I could have tmj? I was so scared that I went to the doctors and they sent my for a CT scan. It came back clear, of anything serious, but Im afraid they might have missed something, since people say CT scans aren't that great for catching tumors, etc, in the brain. I freaked out and never responded the next morning when I logged into my facebook he had removed me as a friend so I text and asked him why. He said it wasn't him that had removed me and that I had put him in an awkward position with his wife texting him and wishing him luck because she had taken the day off work to go and see him perform and received his text on his phone (bare in mind he gave me his number and bombarded me with texts and emails daily). It has left my mind boggled because I told him I do not tolerate lies and he started attacking me verbally dragging my family into arguments and asking if I was on drugs for accusing him of lying. He also told me there wasn't one thing he had lied to me about and I had to stop blaming everyone else for my own problems and that I was needy, insecure and that if it was easier to blame him than realize I have problems then he pity's the next gullible poor sod that tries to get to know me. Computer not recognizing external reformatted hard drive?

If you unplug the usb cord and the information disappears from the screen in disk management it is pretty clear that that is your external drive. If there is not data on it there is no harm in initializing it or doing another format. I agree with your friend go to Control Panel > Admin Tools > Computer Management >Storage >Disk Management > locate external usb drive. ign a drive letter to the external drive. Sometimes the drive letters get messed up and you have to manually ign a drive letter. Usually better to use the letter J or higher so that when plugging and unplugging the usb drive the computer will not miss name it.

Tell your daughter how precious that she is, and that you respect her. She needs to know that her own mom respects her. Her self- esteem starts with how her mother feels about her, and then of course how she feels about herself. You've been through some rough times, and she needs to know that no matter how crazy the world is out there, she always has the love and support of her mother. Part of being young is making mistakes and learning (hopefully) from those mistakes. Tell your daughter that she is your hero. Tell her all the reasons why you respect her as a beautiful, strong woman. She needs to focus on the positive and that starts with you. Don't mention the negatives. Don't even mention the married man. Focus on all the reasons that you respect her. She will gain the confidence that she needs!

Would you rather be in front of friends or strangers?

I absolutely no problem getting naked on a beach in front of strangers, even if they are predominantly male, and I have embared my husband by stripping off in quiet corners of ``regular beaches'' or parks, and I have walked naked through woods, and been "caught", but I do feel a bit embarrased say getting naked in fronts of friends or colleagues, say in our backyard or in changing rooms. ( I have done it though). My hubby on the other hand would not dream of going in public at other than a beach, but will strip in front of friends (male and female) in a private place no problem whatsoever.
