7 month baby constipation - question?

i've started to wean my daugther this past couple of days. and she was constipated yesterday as she wouldn't stop crying. i tried 1 Oz of pur orange juice and 3 Oz of cooled boiled water (1 to 3 ratio). i was told it would work instantly but she went to sleep and this morning she did the biggest ever Business i've ever seen. good luck.
