Am I being too shallow?

Scenario: My son met a woman 13 years older than him and she has a son. She is my son's first girlfriend. The bimbo decided she wanted another baby before she got too old so they decided to get her pregnant. They got married the next month. As a mother, I don't approve of her, and she knows it. I feel my son ruined his future and now is "stuck". I have a hard time accepting her and her other son. The family is filled with "jailbirds" and not up to our standards. This has everyone estranged. I don't believe this will work down the road, but am I being too shallow?
