Can clenching your teeth cause shooting pain in your head?
Hi, I have been having these pains in my head, that are like shooting pains. They can start all the way from the back of the head to the front. I had my wisdom teeth taken out in 2009 and the dentist said that enamel is worn, so I was wondering if I could have tmj? I was so scared that I went to the doctors and they sent my for a CT scan. It came back clear, of anything serious, but Im afraid they might have missed something, since people say CT scans aren't that great for catching tumors, etc, in the brain. Can this simply just be caused by tmj? My right side of my jaw does make a little noise when I open it. Thanks for the help!
