Is in necessary to have red and pink colours for a Valentine's day wedding?

My fiance and I have been together for about 5 years, we got engaged this August and we were planning a wedding for August 2010. We had to change our plans bcoz we are expecting...we decided to have the wedding on 13 Feb 2009. Our colours were lilac and cream but now I think I have to change them to red and white or something that compliments the valentine's day theme. Do u think I could still do the lilac and cream theme or will it be a horrible outcome??? Im really stressed, I can't change the wedding date bcoz I want to fit into my wedding dress, I dont wanna wait till I start to show. Thanks
