Why are there no trains running from Manchester to Milton Keynes after 10:30pm?

I'm going to see the Champions League game in manchester but I think I may have trouble getting home. The train timetables show that the 10:07pm from Manchester Picccadilly is the last train to Milton Keynes. And i won't make that train as the game finishes at around 9:45pm.
