Torpedo Treadmill from Kmart?

I just purchased a Treadmill form Kmart. Brand: Torpedo... I havent yet been able to use it. We have it all put together instuctions have been triple checked yet i still get E2 flashing on the screen after 4 sec's The book tells me this has something to do with the Speed Signal. Ive check all plugs etc they look fine to me.. Can anyone help???
